About Us

World Youth Foundation Malaysia has been at the forefront of making a difference in children’s lives since 1994. WYF is an NGO in special consultive status and social council of the United Nation, also associated with the United Nation Department of public information. Located at the intersection of community and life, World Youth Foundation Malaysia is a life-affirming journey that builds on the richness and power of lifelong values. We have been providing young people the values and skills they need to become exceptional community leaders.

World Youth Foundation Malaysia located at it's very own complex called THE WORLD YOUTH FOUNDATION COMPLEX based in Ayer Keroh Malacca. WYF's is headed by Tun Seri Setia (Dr.) Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mohd Rustam, which is also the TYT of Malacca, and assisted by the Board of Trustees.

WYF support the work of UN and also organized various seminars, meetings, conference and dialogues for youth in various areas such as economics, socials, culture etc.

The Foundation have a good working relationship with all its major stakeholders i.e Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, all UN agencies, World Bank, The World Association of National Youth Organization, the ASEAN Secretariat, the COMMONWEALTH Secretariat, local government etc. In February 2007, the foundation received the CIVIL SOCIETY STATUS from United Nation Environment Programme as a recognition for raising awareness among young people on the issues affecting our environment.

The Foundation seeks to support the works of UN and support the World Programme of Action for Youth for Year 2000 and beyond.
