Paving the Way to a Brighter Future

To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the world needs to leverage the full potential of all generations. Solidarity across generations is key for sustainable development. We must collaborate to foster successful and equitable intergenerational relations and partnerships to ensure “no one is left behind.”

URBANICE MALAYSIA once again brings to you the Malaysia Urban Forum 2022 (MUF2022), a national-level forum that aims to promote outcome-driven discussions and the sharing of solutions in developing and addressing Malaysia’s current urban challenges through the localisation of the SDGs, as we move closer to becoming a Sustainable Urban Nation 2030.

During the celebration, UNWTO launched its first World Tourism Day Report, the first in an annual series of updates and analysis of the Organization’s work guiding the sector forward. The inaugural report is titled “Rethinking Tourism: From Crisis to Transformation”, reflecting the timely relevance of the 2022 theme as well as the unprecedented crisis that hit the sector in 2020.
